How to upgrade from ACC4, ACC5 and ACC6 to ACC7
Upgrading from v6 to v7:
- v6 licenses purchased before November 15th 2018 can be upgraded for free to v7. You only have to install version 7 on top of existing version 6.
- v6 licenses older than 15 Nov 2018 needs an upgrade key, 1 per channel.
Note that a system can contain both sorts of licenses. It's only after installing version 7 you will know how many licenses will need a paid upgrade.
Note that v5 to v6 upgrades that were purchased from the 4th of October 2018 can be upgraded to v7 for free.
Upgrading from v5 to v7:
- This will demand upgrade keys. You will need as many or more upgrade keys as there are v5 license keys in the system.
Note that it is the same upgrade key for upgrading from v5 to v7 and from v6 to v7.
Upgrading from v4 to v7:
Easiest route:
- v4 to v5, either for free or paid (as has always been the case).
- v5 to v7, using a paid for upgrade key.
